Korvai Apparel works primarily with handloom cloth — handloom cotton from Tamil Nadu, linen from Andhra Pradesh, and silk and silk-cotton blends sourced from weavers across India. The jewellery is brass, gold plated.

Every fabric is selected by hand for its weight, texture, and how it moves. Specific fabric information is listed on each product page.

• Cold hand wash, separately, for the first three washes
• Mild detergent only — no bleach or enzyme-based products
• Do not wring; fold gently and press out water
• Dry flat or hang in shade — avoid direct sun
• Warm iron on reverse while slightly damp
• Do not dry clean

Handloom fabric is woven on traditional looms by hand. This means that thread density, weave texture, and colour tone can vary slightly between pieces — even within the same lot. A faint line, a shift in texture, a minor difference in shade: these are marks of the handloom process, not defects.

We currently produce in standard sizes (XS–XL). Custom sizing is not available for online orders at this time. If you are visiting Korvai House in Kochi, speak to us directly — we may be able to help depending on the piece and the alteration required.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets via Razorpay. Cash on delivery is not available.

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 12 hours of placement, before they enter dispatch. WhatsApp us immediately at +91 79947 81471 with your order number.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may initiate a return after delivery.

Available sizes are shown on the product page. If a size is greyed out, it is currently out of stock. WhatsApp us to be notified when it is back, or to enquire about availability.

Orders are dispatched within 3–5 working days from Kochi. After dispatch:

• Kerala: 2–3 working days
• Metro cities: 3–5 working days
• Rest of India: 5–7 working days

You will receive a tracking link by SMS and email once your order is dispatched.

International shipping is not available through the website at present. If you are based outside India and would like to place an order, please WhatsApp us at +91 79947 81471 and we will assist where possible.

Free shipping on all orders above ₹3,000. A flat charge of ₹120 applies to orders below this threshold.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, with tags intact, and in original condition. Earrings and jewellery are non-returnable. Full details are on the Shipping & Returns page.

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 working days of our receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Korvai Apparel is designed and made at Korvai House in Palarivattom, Kochi, Kerala. The studio is open daily from 10am to 6:30pm.

They are two separate labels under the same founder and studio. Korvai India (korvaiindia.com) focuses on handcrafted sarees — Banarasi brocade, embroidered silks, Kanjivaram. Korvai Apparel is the everyday clothing line: kurtas, co-ords, draped pieces, and jewellery. Both are made at Korvai House in Kochi.

Yes. Korvai House is open daily from 10am to 6:30pm. You are welcome to walk in — no appointment needed. The full collection is available in-store, and Celia is usually there.
